2014-15 (Junior)

Posted a 9-24 overall singles record … was 6-13 in duals and 3-11 in tournament play … played No. 2-5 singles … was 10-19 overall in doubles … went 7-11 in duals and 3-8 in tournament play … won the clinching match in 4-3 wins over Northern Arizona and Army … has clinched deciding match point for team five times … played mostly No. 2 doubles with Max Olson … won doubles match against Princeton … made the semifinals in doubles in the New Mexico Fall Classic teaming with Nicholas Carpenter.


2013-14 (Sophomore)

Won 14 singles and six doubles matches … posted a 12-8 dual match record for singles, including a 10-4 mark at the No. 6 position … won four of his six doubles matches with Andy Jackson, including two against Mountain West opponents at the No. 2 spot, defeating Utah State and UNLV ... won the clinching match in 4-3 wins over Weber State and BYU … won the team’s Rich Gugat “Attitude is Everything” Award for character, leadership and attitude.


2012-13 (Freshman)

Won eight singles and six doubles matches … named team’s Most Improved Player … posted an 8-7 dual match singles record, including a 4-3 mark at the No. 6 position … won the deciding match in 4-3 victory over UMKC … won three matches at the No. 3 doubles spot with Steven Young.


Before Air Force

Four-year letterwinner in tennis ... ranked in the top 25 in Boys 16 and top 30 in Boys 18 at the Super Championship level in Texas … helped his junior team win the USTA Team Tennis national championship in 2011 … high school tennis coach was Doug Davis.



Parents are Steve and Ellen Parks ... has one sister ... was the lead safety medical officer for the Basic Cadet Training squadron last summer … worked the Expeditionary Skills and Evasion Training (ESET) in the summer of 2014 … also completed Operation Air Force at Elmendorf AFB, AK. … would like to become a behavioral phychologist and then a dermatologist in the future … active in his squadron as an element leader … was also athletics non-commissioned officer last spring and serves as the athletics officer this fall … member of the Superintendent’s List for excellence in academics, athletics and military training in the spring of 2015 … member of Athletic’s List spring of 2013 and fall of 2015 … also recruited by Trinity and Villanova ... hobbies include golf and playing the piano ... favorite food is sushi ... favorite book is Unbroken … favorite movie is Rocky ... person in history he would most like to meet is George W. Bush … credits his parents with the biggest influence on his sports career ... started playing tennis at age 8 … favorite professional tennis player is Novak Djokovic … member of cadet squadron 7.
