Air Force Swimming & Diving Visits TCU

The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action on Friday, Nov. 2, when they travel to TCU for a Mountain West Conference match-up. The men then face SMU on Saturday, Nov. 3, while the women will compete in the Open Water Collegiate Nationals, held in Lake Travis, Texas.
Scouting the Falcon Women... Air Force's top finisher against CSU and UNM was junior Jane Hwang, who won both the 100 and 200 freestyle events, while finishing second in the 200 IM. Hwang currently ranks fifth in the MWC in the 100 free, sixth in the 200 free and ninth in the 200 IM.
Scouting the Falcon Men... Air Force registered a total of seven wins, with three relay victories, while sophomore Sean O'Keefe added a pair of wins and juniors Bryan Avery and Kai Yamashiro notched wins as well. Air Force recorded a total of 21 top-three finishes on the weekend.
Scouting the Frogs... TCU's women's team currently holds a 3-2 overall record and 0-1 mark in the MWC. Leading the Frogs are Stephanie Futscher, who ranks second in the league in the 200 fly, Brittney Martinez, who is third in the 100 back, and Katie Rosen, third in the 200 breast.
Scouting the Mustangs... SMU enters this weekend with a 1-0 dual mark, coming off a victory over Centenary. The Mustangs won every race in their meet against Centenary, with seven different individuals capturing first place finishes. Maverick Smalley won a pair of races to lead the Mustangs, taking first in both the 200 back and 200 IM.
