Gunn Earns Second MWC Men's Swimmer of the Week Honor
    Senior wins five individual events vs. TCU and SMU last week.

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force senior Benjamin Gunn has named Mountain West Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, announced today by the conference office. This is Gunn's second career MWC Swimmer of the Week honor and second in the last three weeks.

    Gunn, a product of Gainsville, Ga., won five individual events last weekend in Air Force`s dual meets at TCU and SMU. On Friday, the senior posted season-best times to win both the 200-yard backstroke (1:50.45) and 100-yard butterfly (50.31) vs. the Horned Frogs, and also clocked a time of 50.65 to pace the field in the 100-yard backstroke. On Saturday, he finished the 200-yard individual medley in a season-best 1:52.76 to win the event. Gunn, who also led-off the Falcons' first-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:33.04), also won the 100 back vs. the Mustangs, touching the wall in 51.61.

    Joining Gunn in MWC men's swimming honors was TCU senior Kyle Callens, who was named men's Diver of the Week.
