Air Force Announces Incoming Men's Swimming Class of 2016

USAF ACADEMY, Colo.- Air Force men's swimming head coach Rob Clayton announced today the 10 members that will make up the Falcons' class of 2016. The 10 cadets arrived for Basic Cadet Training on Thursday, June 28, marking the beginning of the four-year journey to become officers in the United States Air Force. The new cadets will start academic classes on Thursday, Aug. 9. The Air Force rookie class features swimmers representing eight states, in addition to one from England. Freshman George Frank comes to the Academy from the 2011-12 High School National Champion Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla. In addition, freshman Alex Leighton is the son of Chrissy Ahmann-Leighton, who won two gold medals (4x100 medley relay and 4x100 freestyle relay) and a silver (100 butterfly) at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
