Pair of Falcons to swim at Olympic Trials
June 4, 2016

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- A pair of Falcons will be competing in the 2016 Olympic Trials, June 26-July 3, at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb.  Rising seniors Andrew Faciszewski and Jordan Dahle will both compete, looking for a spot in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August.  Faciszewski will swim the mile while Dahle will swim the 50 and 100 free.

Faciszewski qualified for the trials this past weekend in Thornton, Colo., when he swam a 16:09.83 in the mile.  Dahle had previously qualified in both the 50 and 100 free earlier this season. Michael Barnosky, who graduated on June 2, also qualified in the 100 breast stroke, but will not be swimming in the Trials.

"Both Andrew and Jordan swam great last weekend in Thornton," head coach Rob Clayton said. "Andrew's mile was the swim of the night. The whole place was going crazy and, in typical Andrew fashion, he was real close to the cut and then just blistered the last 100."
