Knaute Finishes 17th In 400 IM At NCAA's

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Air Force senior Chris Knaute took 17th in the men's 400 yard individual medley at the 2007 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota.

Knaute swam a time of 3:49.88 which was about a second off his career-best and school record time. The senior from Houston, Texas, also swam in the 500 free yesterday, placing 21st.

Knaute returns to action tomorrow, swimming the 1650 free in the finals.
