Air Force Swimming & Diving Hosts Wyoming In Regular Season Finale

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving hosts Wyoming this Saturday, Feb. 3, in its final regular season dual of the 2006-07 season. Fourteen Falcon seniors will be competing in their final home meet which begins at 11 a.m.

    Last year vs. Wyoming: The Falcon men's team defeated the Cowboys 131-111 last year The women's team lost to the Cowgirls, 142-91.

    The Seniors: Fourteen Falcon seniors swim in competition for the final time at the Cadet Natatorium Saturday. Nine men's swimmers and divers which comprise of: Andrew Bergman (Breast), Nick Burton (IM/Free), Chris Knaute (IM/Free), Justin Lapin (IM/Back), Brady Lindberg (Diving), Ryan Moss (Free), Paul Parmenter (IM/Back), Matt Sievers (Fly) and Nick Uzelac (Free), swim their final home meet. Five femals swimmers and divers which comprise of: Lauren Bursey (Diving), Stephanie Hirst (Breast), Lindsey Kirchhoff (Fly/Free), Blair Leake (Breast) and Lauren White (Free), swim their final home meet.

    Last Week: The Falcons had a tough weekend in Utah as AFA was swept by BYU and Utah over the weekend. The Falcon men's team lost 138-105, while the women's team lost 153-74. Against Utah, the men's team lost a close battle, 154-146 and the women dropped a 153-117 contest.

    Up Next: The Falcons take part in the 2007 Mountain West Conference Swimming & Diving Championships from Feb. 21-24 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
