USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Utah's Sterling Richards and Kelsey Patterson combined to win the men's and women's one-meter dive in the second and final day of action at the 2006 Air Force Diving Invitational at the Cadet Natatrium. Air Force's Brady Lindberg won the men's platform dive and Wyoming's Ginni van Katwijk took the women's platform honors.

Richards scored 339.25 points and Patterson scored 269.45 points. The duo claimed a sweep of the one-meter and three-meter dives as both won the three-meter dives the previous day.

Aaron Feight of Denver took second in the men's one-meter with 334.60 points. John Lynch of Wyoming placed third with 287.70 poiunts. Kristin Pitt of BYU took second in the women's one-meter with 268.05 points and Carrie Quinn of New Mexico placed third with 258.95 points.

Lindberg won the men's platform diving with 322.0 points. Feight of DU took second with 272.50 points and Ron Morris of BYU placed third with 252.35 points. Van Katwijk won the women's platform with 219.95 points. Emily Keefer of Wyoming placed second with 192.90 points and Angela Nelson of BYU took third with 187.70 points.

Lindberg also paced the Falcons in the one-meter dive with an 11th place finish (246.00 pts). Freshmen Randy Rogers was 13th (219.85) and Patrick Sauncy took 16th (195.35). Rogers also took 8th in the platform with 209.50 points and Sauncy 11th with 193.20 points.

Sophomore Danielle Dowds was the top diver for the Falcon women, placing fifth in the platform (181.25) and 17th in the one-meter (205.20). Meredith Leake was 18th (204.30), Amy Get 21st (194.65), Lauren Bursey 22nd (192.75) and Ashleigh Peck was 24th (191.90) in the one-meter dive. In the platform diving, Bursey finished 10th (169.40), Peck 16th (152.85) and Get 18th (148.50).

The Falcon conclude their regular season next Saturday, Feb. 4 at Wyoming.
