Day Three Results

ATLANTA, Ga.- Eight Air Force swimmers competed in final day action Saturday at the 2011 AT&T Winter National Championships, held Dec. 1-3 at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. Six swimmers from the men's team and two from the women's team swam today for the Falcons.

On the men's side, freshman Max Evans-Nolan was AFA's top swimmer, placing 22nd in the 1500 meter freestyle with a time of 16:05.74. Junior Matt Millikin placed 59th in the 200 back with a time of 2:11.99.

Senior Cody Deacon and junior Kaleb Jenkins swam the 200 breast. Deacon placed 80th with a time of 2:27.85 and Jenkins placed 91st with a time of 2:35.33.

Sophomore Micah Newmann and junior Tim Martinelli swam the 100 free. Newmann placed 86th with a time of 2:27.85 and Martinelli placed 111th with a time of 53.64.

On the women's side, freshman Kim Davis had Air Force's top swim, placing 42nd in the 200 meter breaststroke prelims with a time of 2:39.13. Junior Haley Holcombe placed 82nd in the 200 fly with a time of 1:07.23.
