Air Force Men's Swimming Takes Third at Denver Relays

    DENVER - Air Force men's swimming placed third at the Denver Relays Saturday at the El Pomar Natatorium. The Falcons top events were the 200 medley relay and the 100 free relay.

    Air Force placed second twice and third five times in the 10 event meet. Wyoming took first, followed by Denver in second.

    The group of Angus MacDonald, Michael Barnosky, Kaleb Jenkins and Tim Martinelli placed second in the 200 medley relay (1:33.30). The group of Martinelli, George Frank, Anthony Chiaro and MacDonald also took second in the 100 free relay (38.80).

    In the 300 fly relay, the group of Ryan Dunne, Kevin Mitchell and Chiaro placed third (2:34.10). The 300 back relay group of Matt Millikin, Matt Walls and MacDonald also took third (2:38.00).

    The Falcons placed third in the 300 breast relay (2:58.30) with the group of Barnosky, Jenkins and Sam Wieser. Air Force also placed third in the 400 medley relay (3:35.90) with the group of Dunne, Frank, Mitchell and Barnosky. The group of Millikin, Jenkins, Kyle Casias and Frank also took third in the 100 medley relay (42.90).

     

     

    Air Force returns to action Friday, Oct. 19, hosting a meet along with the women's team against Colorado College, Colorado Mesa and Colorado Mines.
