AUSTIN, Texas - Air Force senior Kyle Van Valkenburg (Tucson, Ariz.) registered his best-ever regional finish, as competition ended Saturday at the 2010 NCAA Zone E Diving Regionals, being held at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center on the campus of the University of Texas.

Van Valkenburg placed fifth on the men's platform to conclude a strong three-day meet, after placing 13th at 3-meters and 16th on the 1-meter board. McCormick dominated on the men's platform, posting a score of 905.40. Placing second was Blaha Constantin, also of Arizona State, with a score of 737.75, while USC's Steven Starks placed third at 733.05.

Stanford's Margaret Hostage placed second with a score of 545.25, while USC's Victoria Ishimatsu, the zone champion in both the 1- and 3-meter springboard events this year, finished third with a mark of 525.00.
