    LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Air Force men's swim team dropped a 147-91 dual meet at UNLV Saturday at Buchanan Natatorium. Senior Corydon Butler led the Falcons (8-9) with a pair of wins in the mid-distance freestyle events.

    Air Force took first place in 5-of-14 events. Butler led the way with wins in the 200 (1:40.72) and 500 free (4:35.83).

    The Falcons also had wins from freshman Sam Sloan, senior Cody Deacon and junior Kaleb Jenkins. Sloan won the 200 back with a time of 1:58.66. Deacon won the 200 breast with a time of 2:07.94 and Jenkins won the 100 fly with a time of 51.76.

    In the relay events, the Falcons placed third in the 200 medley relay and second in the 200 free relay. Air Force also had second place swims by sophomore Angus MacDonald in the 200 back (1:59.48), freshman Sam Wieser in the 200 breast (2:13.58), freshman Max Evans-Nolan in the 500 free (4:47.36) and freshman Kyle Casias (52.07).

    The Falcons return to action at the MPSF Championships Feb. 15-18.
