Day Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Sophomore Alex Pecci won the men's platform diving in day two action of the Falcon Diving Invitational, hosted by Air Force, Saturday at the Cadet Natatorium. Derek Campbell of Wyoming won the men's 1-meter diving and San Diego State's Kristen Meier swept the women's diving competition by winning the women's 3-meter diving.

Pecci won the men's platform diving with 278.55 points. Wyoming's Dalton Haas placed second with 234.30 points and Campbell took third with 233.10 points. Air Force junior Brent White placed fourth with 207.08 points.

It was the same four divers in the top four in the men's 1-meter diving. Campbell won with 318.70 points and Haas took second with 313.95 points. Pecci placed third with 288.80 points and White was fourth with 273.35. Fellow Falcon freshman Greg Copeland took sixth with 242.65 points.

Meier won the women's 3-meter diving with 343.05 points. It completed a three-event sweep for Meier was she also won the 1-meter and platform diving yesterday. San Diego State made it a 1-2-3 sweep as Anna Steiner placed second for the Aztecs with 321.60 points and teammate Rafaella Suarez took third with 286.00 points.

***Yesterday, the men's 3-meter diving was incorrectly listed as the 1-meter diving.  Scores and order of finish were correct.***
