    Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Day one action at the Air Force Diving Invitational completed Friday night. The women's 3-meter, the men's 1-meter and the women's platform competion took place on day one.

    Kristy Ardavanis of Northern Arizona won the women's 3-meter, Josiah Purss of Utah won the men's 1-meter and Emma Ivory-Ganja of UCLA won the women's platform.

    Adavanis won the 3-meter with 299.50 points in the finals. Kersten Merry of Utah finished second with 278.75 points and Ciera Courtney of Boise State placed third with 276.95 points.

    Purss won the 1-meter with 363.90 points in the finals. Derek Campbell of Wyoming placed second with 338.55 points and Chuen Li Foo of Utah took third with 317.25 points.

    Ivory-Ganja won the platform with 279.45 points. Rafaelia Suarez of San Diego State took second with 230.90 points and Kersten Merry of Utah placed third with 225.50 points. Description: Brent White

    Air Force's top diver was freshman Dominic Vallejo. Vallejo placed 10th in the 3-meter with 278.55 points. Senior Brent White placed 14th, junior Alex Pecci took 15th, sophomore Greg Copeland 18th, freshman Nathaniel Zillweger 19th and junior Peter Cialkowski 22nd.

    Day two action begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. Day two competition begins with the men's 1-meter, followed by the women's 3-meter and wrapping up with the men's platform.
