Air Force midfielder Kevin Durr was named to the 2012 NCAA Men's Division I All-West Region Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Durr earned second-team honors.

Durr, who was a third-team selection last year, is the first Air Force player to earn all-region honors twice since Marcus Sagastume in 2003 and `04. Durr was also named first-team all-conference and the Most Valuable Player of the MPSF tournament this season.

"Kevin is very deserving of this regional selection with his consistent high level of play all season," said Air Force head coach Doug Hill. "He had several clutch goals and assists for us in key games."

The senior from Garmisch, Germany, led the Falcons to their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 1997 by pacing the team in scoring with 15 points. He posted team-highs of five goals and five assists and finished third in the MPSF in total shots with 59.

The Falcons finished the 2012 season with a 10-9-4 record and captured their first conference championship by defeating ninth-ranked New Mexico in a shootout (5-3) in the MPSF title game to earn a trip to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Air Force dropped a 1-0 decision to the University of Washington in the first round.
