Kevin Durr had an assist on each Air Force goal on Sunday as the Falcons rallied to defeat 22nd-ranked CSU Bakersfield, 2-1, to clinch second place in the Mountain Division and a spot in the MPSF postseason tournament. He started the play that tied the game at 1-all with a free kick into the box that Conor Henry touched to the left side of the net and Ben Chavez finished with a rocket from about 10 yards out.
Durr then posted his second assist of the day and 10th of the season just over three minutes into the second half when he sent a corner kick into the box and Brian Klazura, who flew in from the right side, cleanly headed it into the net for the game-winner in the 49th minute.
Last Friday, Durr attempted a game-high seven shots in the Falcons' 2-1 double-overtime win over Seattle. Durr is second in the MPSF and tied for fourth nationally with 10 assists
The Falcons host Denver this Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. in the regular-season finale.
