    Falcons Return Home For Final Three Games
    The Air Force Falcons return to Cadet Soccer Stadium to begin their season-ending three-game homestand this Friday, Oct. 28 against Seattle University at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Air Force will battle CSU Bakersfield at 1 p.m.
    The Falcons are 8-5-2 overall and 2-3-2 in the MPSF after gaining a win and a tie on the road last weekend.
     
    Air Force Moves Into Second Place
    The Falcons won and tied on the road last weekend, moving into sole possession of second place in the Mountain Division of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The Falcons used an Eric Wilson goal in the 69th minute to defeat San Jose State, 1-0, on Friday, then battled Sacramento State to a scoreless draw on Sunday.
     
    Most Wins in Six Years
    Air Force’s eight wins are the most in one season since the 2005 season, when they were 8-9-2.
     
    Underwood Named MPSF Player of the Week
    Junior goalie Matt Underwood gathered his third and fourth shutouts of the season this past weekend, making three saves in each game. For his efforts, he was named the MPSF Player of the Week. He has allowed just four goals in AFA’s seven league games and currently has a 263-minute scoreless streak.
     
    Durr Still Near Top of National and MPSF Stats
    Air Force junior Kevin Durr is second in the MPSF and tied for sixth nationally with eight assists. Durr is also second in the league with 51 shots.
