For the eighth consecutive year, the Air Force men's soccer team will host Colorado's major league soccer team, the Colorado Rapids, in an exhibition game. The contest will be Saturday, April 19th, at 7:00 p.m., at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. It will be the first game ever played under newly installed lights at the stadium.

Despite heightened security at the Air Force Academy, the base will be open to spectators for this specific event. All fans must enter the Academy through the North Gate entrance (exit 156B off of Interstate 25) and proceed directly to the Cadet Soccer Stadium. There will be a 100 percent identification check. Fans should have their photo identification ready to present and have their windows rolled down when approaching the guard post.

Security at the venue will remain the same. Fans may be subject to search and no large bags or coolers will be permitted.

The Air Force Academy Wings of Blue will drop onto the field with the game ball, and the lights will be turned on during a special ceremony at halftime. Players from both teams will once again be available for autographs and photos after the game. During the game, there will be giveaways, prizes and concessions.

Prior to the men's game, the Air Force women's soccer team will play the University of Denver, beginning at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children. Youth soccer players wearing their team uniform and all cadets will be admitted free of charge. In addition, the first 200 adults wearing a blue shirt will be admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the game, and one ticket will get you admission to both games.
