The Air Force men's soccer team dropped its regular season finale Saturday night, 2-0, to the University of Denver at CIBER Field in Denver. With its victory, DU clichéd the MPSF Mountain Division title and improved to 9-5-4 overall and 6-2-2 in the MOSF, while the Falcons fell to 7-11 and 5-5.

Despite losing the last two games of the season, Air Force will participate in next week's MPSF Championship Tournament in Sacramento, Calif. The Falcons will enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed and face fifth-seeded and tournament host Sacramento State in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. (PT). No. 3-seed New Mexico will play sixth-seeded UNLV in the other first-round game at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Jeralds added the insurance goal in the 22nd minute off a corner kick from Mark Weigand. DU held a 12-8 advantage in total shots and a 6-2 lead in shots on goal. Sophomore Trevor Wade and freshman Caleb Downey each had a shot on goal for Air Force and Underwood made four saves.
