USAFA, Colo. - Air Force lacrosse seniors Tommy McKee and Erik Smith have been selected to participate in the 73rd-annual USILA/LaxWorld Division I-II North/South All-Star Game, which will be held Monday, May 26, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. McKee and Smith, who will play for the North squad, become the 16th and 17th Falcons in program history to take part in the prestigious event.
McKee, an attackman from Holt, Mich., was a second-team All-ECAC pick for the Falcons this season, finishing second on the team in goals with 32 and third on the team in total points with 43. Meanwhile, Smith, a native of Golden, Colo., was a first-team All-ECAC pick at midfield, registering 40 points (25g, 15a) and a team-leading 61 ground balls on the year, while also posting a .579 winning percentage at the face-off X.
The North/South Game, which is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. (ET), is held in conjunction with the Division I National Championship contest, which will follow at 1:00 p.m. Coaching the Division I/II North team this season is Lars Tiffany of Brown, while Saint Leo's Bradley Jorgensen will coach the South team.
