USAFA, Colo. - Air Force head lacrosse coach Eric Seremet has been chosen to serve as the Division I/II North coach at the 72nd United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/LaxWorld North-South Games, which will be played Friday, May 24, on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa.
The North-South Games, which feature many of the top senior lacrosse players in the nation, are an annual tradition that started in 1940 and have been played every year with the exception of 1944 and 1945. This year, the Division III game will be played at 3:00 p.m. (ET), followed by the Division I/II game at 5:30 p.m.
Seremet, who led the Falcons to a 7-7 overall record in his fifth season at the helm of the program, will lead the Division I/II North team, while the Division I/II South team will be coached by Villanova head coach Mike Corrado. Leading the Division III North and South teams, respectively, will be John Johnson of St. John Fisher College and Gene Peluso of Stevens Institute of Technology.
Final team rosters for the North-South Games will be released on Monday, May 20.
