Two Air Force lacrosse players were honored by the Great Western Lacrosse League (GWLL) as all-conference selections. Teammates John Anacker and Nick Wzientek were both first-team selections.

Anacker, a 5-foot-11 senior from Ellicott City, Md., was selected as a first-team long stick midfielder. It was the second consecutive season that Anacker received all-conference honors for the GWLL.

Wzientek, a 6-foot-7 senior from Glen Burnie, Md., earned his first all-conference award. He was selected as a first-team defenseman.

"I am really proud of these two player," head coach Fred Acee said. "They both worked hard all season and are deserving of this honor."

Anacker was also selected as the team's most valuable player overall and was the recipient of the team's Hoover Award, which goes to the player with the most ground balls. Wzientek was the co-recipient of the team's most valuable defensive player.
