Falcons Lacrosse Team Names Three Captains for 2004 Season
May 8, 2003 The Air Force men's lacrosse team announced their captains for the 2004 season at a banquet held May 7, 2003. For the second consecutive season, the team will have three captains. Gregory Kantz, Michael Colosimo and Greg Dangler were voted captains by the rest of the team. The team also presented individual awards to the players for their accomplishments this season. Senior John Anacker was named team most valuable player. Greg Dangler, who leads the team in points, grabbed the offensive MVP award, while the defensive MVP award went to Nick Wzientek and goalkeeper Billy Arnold. This year's recipient of the Pace Weber Award was Greg Kantz. This award is presented yearly as a tribute to former Air Force lacrosse player Pace Weber, who perished along with his instructor in a T-3 flight training accident during his senior year at the Academy. Voted on by members of the varsity team, the recipient is an individual associated with the USAFA varsity lacrosse team, who most exemplifies the characteristics by which Pace lived his life.
