U.S.A.F ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force Academy lacrosse team will play its first home game of the season this Saturday, April 14, at noon against Villanova University.
The Falcons enter Saturday's match with a 3-8 record, coming off of a 13-2 loss to No.4 Notre Dame earlier this week. Air Force logged its first win against Wagner College in a match held at the US Merchant Marine Academy on March 4. The Falcons defeated Wagner, 13-4. Air Force's second win came just over a week later on March 12 against Providence College, where the Falcons won the game in overtime, 9-8. Air Force's logged its third win against VMI, March 31, in a match held at Johns Hopkins University. The Falcons defeated the Keydets, 5-3.
Lacrosse Field Directions:
From the North: Take I-25 to the Air Force Academy North Gate, and continue through the North Gate for about two miles. Turn left on Parade Loop (second left after the B-52). Make your first right on Field House Drive. Follow Field House Drive past the field house and make a right between the field house and cadet gym. The artificial turf field is on your immediate left.
From the South: Enter the Academy either off I-25 (Academy Blvd) or from Academy Blvd. directly. Continue on main road through the Academy (Stadium Blvd.). Turn left on Parade Loop (second left past the football stadium). Continue around Parade Loop to Field House Drive, and turn left on Field House Drive. Follow directions above from Field House Drive.
