Lacrosse Team Takes on Notre Dame at 3 p.m.

    The Air Force lacrosse team takes on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the Falcons first Great Western Lacrosse League match up. Game time is set for April 2 at 3 p.m. (changed from 4 p.m.) at the Falcon Lacrosse Stadium.

    The Falcons are 2-4 and are coming off a 9-3 victory over VMI. Notre Dame is 2-5 but is 1-0 in GWLL play, having defeated Denver 15-8 on Saturday, March 30. Four of their five losses were one point losses, including two in overtime.

    Air Force is led in scoring by team co-captian Matthew Dudderar, who has seven goals on the season. William Arnold is doing a solid job as the team's goalkeeper, saving 41 of 76 shots on goal. Jeff Moss has shared time with Arnold between the pipes, and has saved 10 of 26 shots.

    Following the game against Notre Dame, the Falcons will have only two more home games. They will host Fairfield on Sunday, April 7, at noon. Their final game of the season will be at home against Denver on May 4.
