CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Air Force senior Bryan Price has been named the ECAC Lacrosse League Specialist of the Week, as announced by the league today. It marks the second career weekly award for Price, and the second for an Air Force player this season.
Price, a native of Denver, Colo., led the Falcons' effort at the face-off X in Air Force's win against previously undefeated Bellarmine on Saturday, winning 11-of-17 draws against the Knights, while picking up a season-high eight ground balls. Price also scored his first goal of the season, finding the back of the net after winning the opening face-off of the fourth period, to give Air Force a 12-8 lead.
Other ECAC honorees this week included Fairfield's Colin McLinden, who was tabbed the offensive player of the week and Michigan's Chris Walker and Ian King, who were named the defensive player and rookie of the week, respectively.
Air Force is back on the road this weekend, March 15, for a non-conference match-up at Jacksonville.
