CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Air Force junior Bryan Price has been named the ECAC Lacrosse League Specialist of the Week, as released by the league on Monday. It marks the first career weekly award for Price and the first award for an Air Force player this season.

A midfielder from Denver, Colo., Price was the Falcons' leader at the face-off X at the Frontier Airlines Face-Off Classic this weekend, winning 15-of-23 draws (.652) in two games. His standout performance came in Air Force's win over Canisius on Saturday, as he won 9-of-10 faceoffs in the game. Price, who also picked up nine ground balls on the weekend, added his first career goal on Sunday versus Lehigh, the score which proved to be the game-winner against the 12th-ranked Mountain Hawks.

Earning offensive player of the week honors was Denver's Eric Law, while Fairfield goalkeeper Jack Murphy was named defensive player of the week and Ohio State's Carter Brown was named rookie of the week.

The Falcons officially open their 2013 home slate this weekend, March 2, when they host first-year program Marquette in a 12:00 p.m. contest.
