The Air Force lacrosse team returns to action this weekend, Feb. 15, when it hosts first-year program Furman in a 12:00 p.m. contest at Falcon Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT...
Outscored 12-2 in the second and third periods, the Falcons dropped its season opener to fourth-ranked Denver, 14-8, last weekend. Senior Tommy McKee led Air Force's offense with a hat trick, while junior Keith Dreyer added a goal and two assists.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
Air Force, receiving votes in the preseason USILA coaches poll, enters this weekend with an 0-1 mark after its loss to fourth-ranked Denver last weekend. Senior Tommy McKee (3g) and junior Keith Dreyer (1g, 2a) led the Falcons' offense with three points each, while Bryan Price picked up a team-leading five ground balls. In addition, freshman Luke Toscano led the Falcons' defense with a pair of caused turnovers in his collegiate debut.
SCOUTING THE PALADINS...
Furman, in its first year of competition, enters this weekend with an 0-2 record, following a 19-3 loss to second-ranked North Carolina last weekend.
Through the first two games of the season, Graham Dabbs is the leading scorer for the Paladins with two goals and two assists, while goalkeeper Frazer Kinsley has registered 25 saves.
WINNING AT THE X...
Senior captains Bryan Price and Erik Smith both contributed to the Falcons' solid performance at the face-off X against Denver last week, combining to win 16-of-24 draws. Price won 11-of-18 face-offs for Air Force, while Smith won five of his six draws against the Pioneers.
DREYER, THE MAN-DOWN SCORER...
Junior Keith Dreyer scored a man-down goal against Denver in the Falcons' season opener last weekend, the third man-down goal of his career. Dreyer also tallied a man-down score in last year's game versus Denver, while his first man-down goal came in 2012, during the Falcons' season finale at Hobart.
Senior Tommy McKee has scored at least one goal in 22 straight games, dating back to the 2012 season. His goal scoring streak ranks as the second-longest in the nation, behind Colgate's Ryan Walsh. Meanwhile, his 25-game point scoring streak is currently the 11th longest in the nation.
The Falcons head to the DU Face-Off Classic next weekend, Feb. 22-23, hosted by Denver. Air Force will take on Canisius in Saturday's game, while facing Marist on Sunday. Both games are slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
