Lamoureux named AHA Player of the Week
    Junior center had six points in the AIC series

    USAFA, Colo. - Air Force junior Jacques Lamoureux was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Week as he scored six points to help lead Air Force to a sweep of AIC, Dec. 4-5, at the Academy's Cadet Ice Arena.

    Lamoureux tied a career-high with four points in Friday's 5-3 win with two goals and two assists. He scored the game-winner, his second of the season. On Saturday, he added a goal and an assist in the 6-2 victory. Lamoureux leads the team with 10 goals and 21 points. He ranks fifth in the nation with six power-play goals this season.

    The award is Lamoureux's first of the season and the fourth of his career. His AHA weekly honor is the fourth by a Falcon this season.

    Air Force (8-5-3 overall, 8-1-3 AHA) hosts Mercyhurst (8-9-1 overall and 8-5-1 AHA) Friday-Saturday, Dec. 11-12, at 7:05 MT each night at Cadet Ice Arena. AFA is tied for first in the league while Mercyhurst is two points behind in third place.
