This Week Air Force (5-5-2, 5-1-2 AHA) travels to Storrs, Conn, to face the UConn Huskies (2-7-1, 2-4-1 AHA), Friday-Saturday, Nov. 20-21, 7:05 each day EST Radio/Internet Both games will be broadcast in Colorado Springs on The Sports Animal AM 1300 and on the internet at GoAirForceFalcons.com Pregame show is at 4:35 p.m. MST with faceoff at 5:05 p.m. MST each day Both games will be video streamed with audio by the B2 Network on a subscription basis. Winningest coach in the history of Air Force hockey with a record of 203-217-34 (13th year at AFA) and a career mark of 251-309-42 (17th year) UConn's Bruce Marshall (UConn, 1985) has a 296-316-58 school and overall record in his 22nd year with the Huskies Series with UConn AFA and UConn have played 15 games and Air Force holds an 11-3-1 lead in the series that began in 1987 As AHA opponents, AFA holds a slim 3-2-1 lead The teams played twice in each of Air Force's three seasons in the AHA AFA is 2-2-1 all-time vs. UConn in Storrs and 2-1-1 at UConn as AHA opponents Last season, the two-game series was played in UConn and 11th-ranked Air Force took three points The first game was played Dec. 29 as part of the UConn Tournament and the teams tied, 2-2. AFA advanced in the tournament based on winning the shootout on goals by Jacques Lamoureux and Brent Olson Lamoureux and Scott Mathis scored in the game for a 2-0 lead. UConn tied the game in the second period The teams played five days later in Storrs and AFA won, 4-3. UConn took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Reagan and Hernandez. After a goal by Mayra, Hernandez scored again for a 3-1 lead in the second. Josh Frider and Lamoureux scored in the third to tie the game and Lamoureux scored the game winner four minutes into the third period. Scouting the UConn Huskies UConn is 2-7-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the league and tied for sixth place UConn tied and lost at Canisius, tying 4-4 on Saturday and losing 1-0 on Sunday UConn opened the season with six straight losses, all on the road at Ferris State, Bentley, Merrimack and RIT The Huskies swept AIC, 3-1 and 4-1, at home Nov. 6-7 Freshman Sean Ambrosie leads the team with three goals and eight points Freshman goalie Jeff Larson has started nine games and finished all 10. He has a 3.55 GAA and a .887 saves percentage The Streak Air Force is on a current five-game unbeaten streak with a 3-0-2 record.
