    This Week Air Force Falcons (2-4, 2-0 AHA) at Canisius Golden Griffins (1-5, 0-2 AHA) Saturday-Sunday, 3:05 each day ET at Buffalo State Sports Arena, Buffalo, N.Y.

    The Coaches Air Force coach Frank Serratore (Bemidji State, 1982) is in his 13th season as the Falcons' head coach He has led the Falcons to three straight conference championships and NCAA Tournament berths. * Winningest coach in the history of Air Force hockey with a record of 200-216-32 (13th year at AFA) and a career mark of 249-308-41 (17th year) * Canisius' Dave Smith (Ohio State, 1992) has a 46-87-17 school and overall record in his fifth season at Canisius

    Serratore Gets #200 Head coach Frank Serratore, already the winningest coach in Air Force hockey history, earned his 200th win at Air Force with a 3-2 victory over RIT, Oct. 24.

    Scouting the Griffs Canisius is 1-5 overall this season and 0-2 in the AHA * The Griffs opened the season with a split at home against Ferris State, the only loss Ferris State (5-1) has this year * Canisius opened AHA play last weekend at home and got swept by Holy Cross with identical 3-2 scores * In both games, Holy Cross scored all three goals in the first period * Sophomore Dan Morrison has started five of the six games and has a 9.20 saves percentage and a 2.82 GAA * Cory Conacher (three goals) and Vincent Scarsella (three assists) each have four points to lead the team

    Series with Canisius AFA and Canisius first met in 2006 as AHA opponents * The teams have played eight times and the series is deadlocked at 3-3-2. * AFA is 3-1 in games played in Buffalo * The last time the teams played in Buffalo was Feb. 22-23, 2008 and AFA swept the series, 3-0 and 4-3. * Last season, AFA lost just 11 games all season and two of them came at home as Canisius swept the series at AFA * In the first game, AFA led 4-2 with three minutes remaining.* Canisius scored three goals in a span of 67 seconds to take a 5-4 lead with 1:50 remaining and held on for the win. * In the second game, Canisius scored three second period goals for a 3-1 lead entering the third. * After Blake Page scored to make the score, 3-2, Canisius added an empty-netter for a 4-2 win. * AFA out-shot Canisius, 90-50, in the two games For Canisius,* Dan Morrison played the first game and made 38 saves, 23 in the third period, while allowing four goals * In the second game, Andrew Loewen made 46 saves in a 4-2 win * Kostuch had two goals in the series, one on a penalty shot in the first game * Andrew Volkening made 41 saves in the two games * Fairchild scored two goals for Air Force, one short-handed, in the series

    Conference Road Openers Since joining the AHA for the 2006-07 season, Air Force is 2-1 in the conference road opener and 4-2 in the first league series on the road * Air Force's first ever AHA road series was at Canisius, Nov. 11-12, 2006. * Air Force won the first game, 5-3, while Canisius won the second game, 4-1
