Lamoureux and Volkening named preseason All-Americans

    USAFA, Colo. -- Air Force junior forward Jacques Lamoureux and senior goaltender Andrew Volkening were named to the 2009-10 preseason Inside College Hockey.com (INCH) All-American team. Lamoureux was named to the first team while Volkening was named to the third team.

    Lamoureux, a center from Grand Forks, N.D., was a Hobey Baker finalist and first-team INCH All-American last season. He led the nation with 33 goals, 15 power-play goals and nine game winners. He was second in the nation with 53 points last season.

    A native of Genoa, Ill., Volkening was a first-team all-Atlantic Hockey Association selection last season. He was named to the AHA and NCAA East Regional all-tournament teams and set new school records for wins (28), goals-against average (1.97), saves percentage (.920) and shutouts (6).
