AFA's Scott Holm named AHA Rookie of the Month

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force freshman Scott Holm was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Month for March/April.
Holm, a forward from Plymouth, Minn., was AFA's top freshman scorer with three goals and four points in six games as Air Force won its fifth league champion¬ship in six years. He scored a goal in all three games vs. UConn as the Falcons won the AHA Quarterfinal. In the first game, Holm scored AFA's first goal to tie the game at 1-1 in the first period. He assisted on the second goal that tied the game at 2-2 as Air Force went on to win, 4-3. In the second game, Holm scored AFA's only goal in a 3-1 loss. In the third game, he scored AFA's first goal in the 4-3 victory that sent Air Force to the AHA Final Four.
Holm finished the season with 10 points on six goals and four assists and was named the team's most improved player.
