U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -  Air Force freshmen Erik Baskin and Jonathan Kopacka earned Travel Team USA/Atlantic Hockey weekly honors in helping Air Force sweep AIC, Feb. 13-14, at the Academy.

Baskin, a winger from Minnetonka, Minn., was named the Travel Team USA Rookie of the Week as he scored five points against the Yellow Jackets in a pair of wins. On Friday, he had career highs of two goals and three points in the 9-3 win. He scored the game-winning goal on Saturday and also had an assist in the 3-1 win. Baskin has a current seven-game scoring streak and has 10 points (7-3-10) during the streak.

Kopacka, a defenseman from Metamora, Mich., was named the Travel Team USA Defensive Player of the Week as he blocked three shots, had two assists and was a +6 in two victories over AIC last weekend. In the first game, he had two assists, was a +4 and blocked a shot in the 9-3 win over AIC. On Saturday, he was a +2 and blocked a shot in the 3-1 win.
