    Played three years of junior hockey with the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL .. Played for coach Oliver David ... The top scoring defenseman, and third overall on the team, with 38 points (11-27-38) in 60 games in 2011-12 ... Named the team's defenseman of the year ... Ranked fifth in the league in points by a defenseman ... 11 goals tied as the second most in the league by any blueliner ... Played 57 games at forward for the Brown Bears in 2010-11 and had 21 points (5-16-21) ...
