Air Force hockey names award winners

Junior Dylan Abood earned three of the top eight awards

2016-17 (Freshman)

Earned the John Matchefts Award as the team’s top freshman … Played in 38 games and had 18 points on five goals and 13 assists … One game-winner and was a +4 … Led the team in face-off winning percentage at 57.3 … First career point was an assist against Ohio State in the Ice Breaker Tournament … Career-best two assists in the win over RIT (Nov. 11) … Scored against national-champion Denver … Career-best three points (1-2-3) in the win over Robert Morris (Jan. 20) … Scored Air Force’s second goal against top-seeded Harvard in the NCAA East Regional.
