WOODLAND, Calif. - Former Air Force gymnast Jeff Andersen (1999-00, 03-04) was selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Anniversary Team, executive director Al Beaird recently announced. The two-time team MVP and four-time letterwinner earned honorable mention status.

Andersen, a member of the Class of 2004, was a 12-time USA Gymnastics All-American and NCAA National Qualifier. Andersen, who was a finalist for the prestigious Nissen Emery Award that is awarded to the nation's top senior gymnast, remains the Academy record-holder on the pommel horse with a mark of 9.600. Originally from Marietta, Ga., and currently stationed at Columbus AFB, Miss., Andersen earned the program's MVP award in 2000 and again in 2004. As a senior, Andersen was a NCAA National Qualifier, picking up 11th-place finish in the all-around.

The MPSF, which will celebrate its 15th year of competition during the 2007-08 academic year, chose the all-anniversary team based on a vote by the gymnastics head coaches from Air Force, California, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Stanford.
