    C1C (Sr.) James Hayes finished 10th in the all-around competition during Thursday afternoon's individual preliminaries of the 2002 NCAA Men's Gymnastics National Championships hosted by the University of Oklahoma.

    C1C (Sr.) James Hayes and C2C (Jr.) Aaron Jackson finished 10th and 11th respectively in the all-around competition during Thursday afternoon's individual preliminaries of the 2002 NCAA Men's Gymnastics National Championships hosted by the University of Oklahoma. Hayes tied for 10th on vault and Jackson tied for 40th. Jackson tied at 15th on rings followed by C1C Stephen Sistare who tied for 32nd, Hayes who tied for 34th and C1C Matthew Kenkel who finished 41st. On pommel horse, Hayes and Jackson finished 29th and 44th respectively. Jackson finished 25th on parallel bars, followed by Hayes who tied for 26th and Kenkel who placed 30th. C2C Justin Jones tied for 26th on high bar. Jackson tied for 33rd and Hayes finished 37th. On floor, Jackson tied for 17th, Jones tied at 27th and Hayes finished at 46th.

    The national team champion will be announced following a 7 p.m. session held Friday evening at OU's Lloyd Noble Center. The individual finals will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday where the individual national champions and All-Americans will be determined.
