CARMI, Ill. - Weekly honors continue to accumulate for Air Force junior Greg Stine (Houston, Texas), who was named the Collegiate Division Gymnast of the Week by the Collegiate Gymnastics Association (CGA) this afternoon. This award, which is voted on by the men's gymnastics coaches, is the second award of the season for Stine.

He joined Ohio State's D.J. Bucher, who won the weekly award for CGA Division I gymnasts.

Stine picked up a pair of individual event victories (floor exercise and still rings) as the Falcons closed out the regular season at Nebraska in Lincoln on March 17. Stine scored an 8.900 on the floor exercise and a 9.100 the still rings to win both of those events. In addition, he tallied a third-place mark on the parallel bars (8.450), en route to his third-place finish in the all-around (48.650). He also finished within the top half of the field on the pommel horse (sixth-7.600) and high bar (sixth-7.650).

Air Force begins the post-season next weekend (March 24-25), as it travels to Williamsburg, Va., for the 2007 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships.
