Air Force Concludes Regular Season at Nebraska

    The No. 15 Air Force men's gymnastics team wraps up the regular season on Saturday, March 22, when it travels to Lincoln, Neb., for a dual meet with the 10th-ranked Cornhuskers. It will be the third meeting of the season between the two programs - and the second at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Action is slated to begin at 7 p.m. (CST).

    WE'LL BE SEEING YOU
    The Falcons will return to Lincoln and the Bob Devaney Center on Saturday, April 5, for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships. In addition to Nebraska, Air Force will face competition from California, Oklahoma and Stanford - three of the top four teams in the country.

    GOING BY RANK
    Air Force has two gymnasts ranked within the top-seven in the latest national rankings. Greg Stine is ranked fourth on the still rings with a three-score average of 15.600, while Jacob Schonig is ranked seventh with an average of 15.400. Stine is also ranked sixth in the all-around with an 87.583 average. In addition, the team is ranked seventh with a combined average of 58.667.

    GOING OUT WITH A BANG
    The Falcons closed out the home portion of the schedule with its best score of the season. Posting a tally of 340.200, Air Force improved its season-high total by nearly three points. In addition, the Falcons upped the program standard on the floor exercise (58.350) and pommel horse (53.050).

    WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
    Air Force will begin postseason action on Saturday, March 29, when it makes a return trip to Springfield, Mass., for the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships. The USAG meet will be followed by the Falcons' conference (April 5) and national championship (April 17-19) meets.
