USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - With a three-score average of 432.983, the Air Force men's gymnastics team moved up to eighth in this week's GymInfo National Rankings - a placement that is tied for the highest national ranking in program history.

In addition to being ranked eighth among 20 teams in the national standings, Air Force is currently listed third in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation ... another ranking that matches a program best.

Backed by an Academy-record performance of 439.700 on Sunday (March 2), the current squad, which has been listed among the nation's top 10 during each of the last five weeks, matched the 2011 team that earned a No. 8 average in the March 28 poll that year

The Falcons are off from competition this weekend, but return to action next Saturday (March 15) when they travel to Lincoln, Neb., for a five-team meet with sixth-ranked Minnesota, seventh-ranked Illinois, ninth-ranked Iowa and 12th-ranked Nebraska.
