Falcons Place Second In Triangular At West Point

    The Air Force men's gymnastics team placed second in a triangular meet with Army and James Madison Univ. Thursday evening at West Point. Army took first (201.650) followed by the Falcons (197.200) and JMU (186.650).

    Air Force performed well, securing four first-place finishes. C2C (Jr.) Aaron Jackson had an outstanding evening, taking first on both high bar (8.250) and floor (8.850) and tying for third on rings (8.400). C1C (Sr.) Stephen Sistare took first on rings (8.750) followed by C1C Matthew Kenkel who finished second (8.500). C1C Scott Lewis tied for first on parallel bars (8.400) and tied for fifth with C2C William Hermann on high bar (8.150). Hermann also tied for seventh on parallel bars (8.000).C2C Justin Jones tied for second on high bar (8.200) and tied for seventh on floor (8.450).

    The Falcons compete again Saturday evening in Amherst, Mass., in a dual meet with UMass at 7.
