The No. 12 Air Force men's gymnastics team travels to Seattle, Wash., this weekend for a dual meet competition with Washington on Friday, Feb. 1. The meet, which runs in conjunction with the UW women's meet with No. 12 Arizona, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (PST) at Alaska Airlines Arena.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Washington is currently unranked and updated stats are not available. The Falcons will face the Huskies twice more this season, including during the Falcons' Senior Night Celebration on March 16.
CHECK OUT THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
After three weeks of competition, the Falcons are ranked 12th in the GymInfo Rankings with an average of 408.050. As a team, the Falcons are ranked among the nation's top 10 on the vault, holding an eighth-place average of 71.533. Individually, Tory Brown is ranked 18th on that event with an average tally of 14.683.
FALCONS DROP FIRST ROAD MEET
Four Falcons picked up top-three finishes, as Air Force dropped its first road contest of the season (430.600-404.350) to seventh-ranked Minnesota on Jan. 26. Tyler Huebner and Nick Owen earned third-place finishes on the still rings (14.850) and pommel horse (14.000), respectively, while Josh Ramos finished third on the parallel bars (14.300) and Tory Brown earned the same placement on the vault (14.650).
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
The Falcons are off from team competition next weekend, as Gared Chapman and Mac Ritchie travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for the prestigious Winter Cup Challenge. Action begins for the pair on Thursday (Feb. 7), with preliminary competition at the LV Sports Center.
