    Air Force Takes Third at Rocky Mountain Open

    Gared Chapman and Josh Pyne matched the Academy's vault record (14.750).

    SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2013: Competed on the high bar in every team competition...scored a career-best 14.100 in consecutive meets (at Illinois-Chicago, at Arizona State)...that score is ranked 19th on the program's all-time list...first debuted on the program's all-time list with a 14.050 performance (20th all-time) at the All-Academy Championships...won the high bar during the Falcons' first victory over Washington (13.600)...member of the parallel bars lineup for 13 of the 14 meets...tallied season-high scores of 14.300 during back-to-back home meets with Temple and Washington.

    FRESHMAN YEAR | 2012: Competed on the parallel bars during every team competition...scored a career-best 14.400 against Minnesota...that score is ranked 10th on the Academy's all-time list...also broke the 14-point mark at the Rocky Mountain Open (14.200) and at Army (14.000)...also competed on the high bar during 11 meets...posted a career-best 13.700 at Arizona State and again during the USAG Championships (team finals).
