JUNIOR YEAR | 2017 (new scoring system): Competed on the still rings during 10 meets...scored a career-best 13.300 at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships...also competed on the rings at the NCAA National Qualifier...was a member of the lineup for the pommel horse and parallel bars in nine meets...scored a personal-best 13.400 on the pommel horse during the season-opening Rocky Mountain Open...earned a top-five finish (13.100, fifth) in the Falcons’ win over Army West Point...registered a career-high 13.600 on the parallel bars at the Navy Triangular.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2016: Competed on the floor exercise during four competitions...scored a career-best 14.050 on that event against Minnesota...matched that score the following week at the All-Academy Championships...participated on the vault and parallel bars during the Falcons’ win over Illinois-Chicago...finished third on the vault (14.500) in that meet.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2015: Did not compete due to a knee fracture and tear of the ACL, medial meniscus, lateral meniscus and MCL.

HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Barrington High School...competed at the club level for Aerial Gymnastics...coached by Tim O’Connell...placed within the top-25 at the Junior Olympic Nationals...collected a third-place finish at the 2014 Houston National Invitational.

PERSONAL: Full name is Michael Joseph Graft III...goes by Mike...son of Michael and Maria Graft...has two older sisters, including one who is a 2017 graduate of the Academy...majoring in management...also earning a minor in philosophy...hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, shooting and movies...favorite events are the floor exercise and high bar, because “I feel like I have the most control”...competed in MMA during high school...would like to add “fight to win”...completed the Powered Flight program over the summer...has come back from two ACL tears in right knee and a patellar tendon reconstruction in the left...member of Cadet Squadron 15.
