FRESHMAN (2008): Competed as a specialist on the pommel horse in eight meets...collected a career-best 13.550 in the preliminaries of the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships...advanced to the event finals at the USAG Championships, placing eighth (12.750)...mark of 13.550 is tied for the third-best mark on the team...also competed at the MPSF Championships...received the team's `Most Improved Gymnast' award. HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Attended Brookfield Central High School...four-year member of the Honor Roll...competed on the track and field team...earned a varsity letter in the hurdles and a junior varsity letter in the pole vault...competed at the club level for Salto Gymnastics...coached by Mitch Connor and Vitali Rudnitski.
