SENIOR (2012): Team captain.
JUNIOR (2011): Competed on the still rings in every competition...scored a 14.800 to finish 12th in the first session of the NCAA National Qualifier...qualified to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships with that score...tallied a season-high 14.900 during the team finals of the USAG Championships...also posted marks of 14.800 on three occasions, including a pair of winning efforts at the All-Academy Championships and at Brockport...also won the still rings title outright at against Army (14.100) and at Minnesota (14.500)...helped Air Force sweep the event titles in the dual meet with the Black Knights.....participated on the vault in 10 meets...posted a season-high mark of 15.700 at the Illinois-Chicago Quad on March 6...also competed on the high bar during seven competitions...scored a career-best 13.600 at Brockport...added a score of 13.500 at Illinois-Chicago.
SOPHOMORE (2010): USAG National Champion on the vault...became just the second Air Force gymnast to earn a national vault title...set Academy record with a 15.950 on the winning vault...USAG All-American on that event...holds a share of the top three vault scores in Academy history...participated at the NCAA Championships on the still rings and vault...competed on those two events in every team competition...posted the eighth-best still rings score in Academy history (15.350) against Illinois-Chicago...also recorded the program's 10th-highest score on that event (15.250) during a triangular meet with Stanford and Illinois-Chicago...won the still rings at four competitions...also won the vault at two...competed on the floor exercise in seven meets...collected a career-best 13.850 on that event at the Southwest Cup.
FRESHMAN (2009): Competed in every meet for the Falcons, including the NCAA Championships...Academy record holder on the vault...USAG All-American on that event...first set program vault standard of 15.800 in a winning effort at the Southwest Cup...it was just the second collegiate vault of career...improved that mark to 15.850 at the MPSF Championships...finished seventh on that event for the squad's best individual finish at the conference meet...posted a career-best 14.450 on the still rings at the USAG Championships...became just the fourth Air Force gymnast to crack the Falcons' top-20 scoring list...competed on the floor exercise, posting a season-best mark of 13.700 at Illinois-Chicago...also participated on the high bar, scoring a career-high 13.200 at Navy and again at the USAG Championships...that is tied for the 18th highest score in Academy history...originally set personal-best marks on three of four events at the Pacific Coast Classic...helped Air Force to five of the top six spots on the still rings in the win over Army.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Cypress Creek High School...four-time Academic All-American...competed at the club level for Cypress Academy of Gymnastics...coached by Tom Meadows and Colby Van Cleave...three-time national semifinalist on the still rings...won the Texas state still rings championship in 2007...team recorded three top-three team finishes at the national meet, including a first-place finish...five-time competitor at the Junior Olympic National Championships.
PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Michelle Menefee...nickname is "TC"...has one older brother, Dillon...majoring in mechanical engineering...future career plans include becoming a pilot or developmental engineer...served as Assistant Director of Operations for squadron, Deputy Course Commander during Basic Cadet Training and Land Speed Capstone Team Lead...has also served as C Flight NCO, Major Training Events NCO and Athletic Clerk...received Prop and Wings...hobbies include building, music and rock climbing...built two electric guitars...competed at the same club as classmate Jacob Houder...spent the first summer session doing research for a brand new Land Speed Capstone project that included going to California for races at El Mirage and learning the ins and outs of electrical vehicles and Land Speed Racing...also completed the Powered Flight program, taking solo flight on the Fourth of July, and served as the Deputy Course Commander for all seven courses at Jack's Valley during BCT...both grandfathers served in the military...favorite event is the still rings, because "I love the strength needed and the performance"...member of Cadet Squadron 38.
