The 32nd-annual meet begins at 6 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet West Gym.

JUNIOR YEAR | 2015: USAG national champion on the still rings...USAG All-American...recorded the eighth-best score in Academy history (15.400) to win the event title by 0.600 points at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships...became just the fourth Air Force gymnast in program history to earn USAG titles in multiple events...earned the CGA National Gymnast of the Week award following that meet...added first-place finishes on the rings at the All-Academy Championships (14.900), against Washington (15.250, ranked 11th on the Academy’s all-time list) and at Arizona State (15.150, 13th)...scored a 15.300 to finish fifth at the NCAA National Qualifier and advance to the NCAA Championships...that score is tied for 10th on the program’s all-time list...also registered the 12th-highest score in Academy history (15.200) during the USAG Team Finals...broke the 15-point mark in five of last seven meets...tied for 22nd at the NCAA semifinals (14.900)...competed on the vault in eight meets...scored a personal-best 14.900 to tie for first in the Falcons’ dual meet with Washington...that score is ranked sixth on the program’s all-time standings...participated on the floor exercise during seven competitions...tallied a season-high 14.600 at the Rocky Mountain Open and again during the USAG Team Finals...competed on the high bar three times, posting a season-high 13.650 in the season-opener...invited to compete at the Winter Cup Challenge...named to the MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete team.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2014: USAG national champion on the floor exercise...recorded the third-best score in Academy history (career-best 15.225) to take the title during the individual event finals of the USAG Championships...recorded a 15.000 on that event during the USAG team finals, becoming the first Air Force gymnast to reach the 15-point mark in 2014...two-time USAG All-American...also finished sixth on the still rings (14.550) during the event finals...earned the Air Force Athlete of the Week (March 24) and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week (March 25) awards following the USAG Championships...advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships on the floor exercise after finishing sixth (15.150) during the National Qualifier...finished 21st at the national meet with a score of 14.900...claimed a first-place finish on the floor during the Falcons’ second win over Illinois-Chicago (14.950)...competed on the still rings and vault during every team competition...scored a season-high score of 14.950 on the rings against Minnesota...recorded a season-best 14.600 during two meets...first set that score at Nebraska...matched that mark three weeks later during a first-place finish at the Temple Triangular.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2013: Received the team’s Freshman of the Year award...earned USAG All-America honors on the floor exercise after placing fifth in the event finals with a score of 13.850...posted a career-best 14.750 to take third on that event in the home victory over Washington...debuted in 12th on the Academy’s all-time list with that score...also finished second on the vault at that meet with a career-best mark of 14.750 (the seventh-highest total in Air Force history)...became the eighth Air Force gymnast to score at least 15 points on the still rings...recorded a career-best 15.000 to finish third in Air Force’s win over Temple...debuted in 15th on the Academy’s all-time list with that score...tallied a personal-best 14.150 on the high bar during the team finals of the USAG National Championships to enter the program’s all-time list at 19th.

HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Jonathan Alder High School…lettered in tennis…ranked as the first singles varsity tennis player all four years…graduated with a 3.96 GPA…competed at the club level on the OSU Boys Team…coached by DeRon McIntyre…made the top 36 at nationals as a senior…also finished second in the state that year…earned Academic All-America honors for four years.

PERSONAL: Full name is Denis Robert Aurelius…son of Glen and Dori Aurelius…is a triplet (sisters Krista and Lindsi)…majoring in systems engineering, with a focus on human factors…future plans include becoming a fighter pilot...served as Element Leader...named Eagle of the Month in April 2014…hobbies include running, throwing the ball and anything outdoors…favorite event is the still rings, because “it’s fun”...received an F-16 incentive ride at Luke AFB, Ariz., in the summer of 2014…member of Cadet Squadron 27.
