SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2015: USAG All-American on the floor exercise...matched the Academy’s event record of 15.400 to win the All-Academy Championships...registered four of the top seven floor exercise scores in Air Force history...posted the program’s second-highest total (15.350) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships...added the Academy’s sixth- and seventh-highest event scores during winning performances at the USAG Team Finals (15.150) and against Washington (15.100)...competed on the vault nine times...recorded a career-best 14.800 against Washington...that mark is tied for eighth on the program’s all-time list...also added the Academy’s ninth-best score (14.750) at the Rocky Mountain Open and during a second victory at the All-Academy Championships...also earned a first-place finish on the vault against Army (14.450)...competed on the still rings and high bar in all 10 team competitions...recorded a career-best 14.150 on the rings at Illinois-Chicago...debuted in 20th on the program’s all-time list in the high bar following a personal-best 14.250 at the NCAA National Qualifier...participated on the parallel bars twice, recording a career-best 13.750 against Army.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2014: Competed in on the floor exercise in four meets...recorded a career-high 14.650 during the Falcons’ victory over Illinois-Chicago...made three appearances on the high bar, scoring a personal-best 12.200 at the Temple Triangular...competed on the vault at Army, scoring a 13.750.

HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Midwest City High School...member of the National Honor Society...student marketing parliamentarian...class valedictorian...competed at the club level for Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics...coached by Neptali Narveaz...finished sixth on the floor exercise and vault at the 2013 Junior Olympic Nationals...first-time Academic All-American first-team selection.

PERSONAL: Full name is Aaron Kennith Nubine...nickname is “A-A-Ron”...son of Jonathon and Bobbie Nubine...father played basketball at Texas Pan-American...has four siblings - Peyton, Maliah, Kayvon and Jonathon...majoring in business management...future plans include becoming a pilot...served as Public Affairs NCO for squadron...also served as an Element Leader during the second session of Basic Cadet Training...enjoys hiking, cooking and sports...grandfather served in the military...favorite event is the high bar, because “nothing is more fun that almost eating a metal bar”...completed Operation Air Force at Beale AFB, Calif., over the summer...also took an aeronautical engineering class and worked BCT...member of Cadet Squadron 34.
