Meet Notes 12: at NCAA Championships (April 15-17)
Nine members of the 13th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics team will travel to West Point, N.Y., for the 2010 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships this weekend (April 15-17). Action begins on Thursday, April 15, with a pair of national qualifying sessions. The top teams and individuals advance to the team finals (Friday, April 16) and individual event finals (Saturday, April 17).
Meet Notes 11: at MPSF Championships (April 3)
The No. 12 Air Force men's gymnastics team continues the championship season this weekend, as it travels to Norman, Okla., for the 2010 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Saturday, April 3. The meet, which will feature five of the nation's top 12 teams, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (CST) at the Howard McCasland Field House on Oklahoma's campus.
Meet Notes 10: USAG Championships (March 26-27)
The 12th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics team begins post-season action this weekend, when it hosts the 2010 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Gymnastics Championships on Friday-Saturday (March 26-27). The two-day meet, featuring four varsity teams and members from five club programs, will be held at the Academy's Cadet West Gym and take place at 5 p.m., each day.
Meet Notes 09: at Arizona State, with Washington (March 19)
The No. 12 Air Force men's gymnastics team will wrap up the regular season on Friday, March 19, when it travels to Tucson, Ariz., for a neutral site competition against No. 18 Arizona State and Washington. It will be the second time in the past month that the Falcons have traveled to Arizona for a meet with the Sun Devils. The triangular meet will be held at the Bear Down Gym and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Meet Notes 08: at Army (March 12); at Springfield, with William & Mary (March 14)
The Air Force men's gymnastics team, which moved up to 12th in the national poll following a record-setting weekend at the Academy, will head to the East Coast for a pair of meets this weekend. The Falcons will open the weekend in West Point, N.Y., at service academy rival Army on Friday, March 12, before traveling to Springfield, Mass., for a tri-meet with Springfield College and William and Mary.
Meet Notes 07: Stanford, UIC (March 5); UIC (March 7)
The No. 14 Air Force men's gymnastics team returns to the Academy this weekend for its final two home competitions of the regular season. The Falcons will host second-ranked Stanford and No. 12 Illinois-Chicago on Friday, March 5, at 7 p.m., before returning for a dual meet with UIC on Sunday, March 7, at 1 p.m. Both matches will take place in the Cadet West Gym.
Meet Notes 06: Air Force at Arizona State (Feb. 26)
The Air Force men's gymnastics team, ranked 14th in the latest GymInfo poll, will travel to Tempe, Ariz., to face Arizona State in a dual meet showdown on Friday, Feb. 26. The men's meet will run in conjunction with the ASU women's duel with seventh-ranked Oregon State. Action, which will take place at Wells Fargo Arena on the Arizona State campus, is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. (PST).
Meet Notes 05: at Nebraska, with Ohio State, Illinois-Chicago (Feb. 21)
After an extra, unscheduled week off from competition due to the cancellation of the All-Academy Championships, the 13th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics finally returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 21. The Falcons will face off with No. 6 Ohio State, No. 9 Nebraska and No. 11 Illinois-Chicago at the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Neb. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. (CST).
Meet Notes 04: at All-Academy Championships (Feb. 13)
After a one-week hiatus from team competition, the 13th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics squad returns to competition on Saturday, Feb. 13, when it travels to Aliso Viejo, Calif., for the annual All-Academy Championships. At the meet, which will take place at the Soka University Gym, the Falcons will face off with No. 15 Army and No. 16 Navy at 1:30 p.m. (PST).
Meet Notes 03: at Winter Cup Challenge (Feb. 4-6)
Three members of the Air Force men's gymnastics team will represent the Academy at the prestigious 2010 Winter Cup Challenge on Feb. 4-6. Junior Nash Mills, sophomore Joel Uptmor and freshman Tory Brown will compete against some of the nation's best gymnasts at the annual event in Las Vegas, Nev. The meet begins with the preliminary round on Thursday, Feb. 4.
Meet Notes 02: at Minnesota, with Nebraska
After a two hiatus from competition, the Air Force men's gymnastics team, currently ranked 14th in the national polls, returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 30, when it travels to Minneapolis, Minn., for a triangular meet with eighth-ranked Minnesota and 10th-ranked Nebraska. Action is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (CST) at the Sports Pavilion.
Meet Notes 01: Rocky Mountain Open (Jan. 16)
The No. 14 Air Force men's gymnastics team opens the 2010 season on Saturday, Jan. 16, as it hosts the Rocky Mountain Open at the Cadet West Gym. The meet will feature conference opponents No. 9 Nebraska and No. 3 Oklahoma, the Arizona State and Washington club teams and select athletes from the Olympic Training Center.
